I purchased a Mini-Lift during the summer of 2009 due to a large increase in miniature horse clients in our area. By far, the Mini-Lift is the most complete and versatile product for teeth floating, radiographs, and any other procedure done standing on miniature horses. Dave also did a great job with custom modifications to suit our needs in the Veterinary hospital. It is such a great product that it has sold itself to several of our miniature clients that need work areas at their farms. Definitely worth every penny.

"I absolutely LOVE my new MINI LIFT!! It is portable, STURDY, EASY to use and my horses don't even blink when on it. THANK YOU DAVE for your great ideas, making our lives with our little horses much easier!!!!"

Update 6/30/2010 - "I have gotten to break my Mini Lift in really well this week preparing for the Fletcher Show...and ultrasounding mares. Let me just say I am amazed first of all that NONE of my horses have had any issues with walking onto the lift, or being elevated. The lift is smooth going up and you can regulate the speed coming down. I feel like my horses are SAFE because I simply switch locations of the side rails so that there are always barriers and... surprise... surprise... I wasn't nearly as grouchy after clipping. My vet used it to ultrasound, and then we went up to a barn away from the lift and ultrasounded a few other mares... she looked at me and said... I LIKE the Lift"

Here are the pix of my Dentist, Ernest Kilby,
Enjoying the mini lift!

Also... When trying to get ready for the AMHA Eastern Championship
Show in August, the
morning I was going to clip we had severe storms
resulting in a power outage that ended up lasting 8+ hours.

Did I panic because I had several horses to clip????
Absolutely NOT!

I simply rolled my very portable mini lift out to the barnyard
(where the sun was shining),
my husband hooked up a generator,
I plugged my
clippers in... and I clipped 4 horses easily!

So, Thanks so much David for making the lift not only portable,
but easy to maneuver.

My horses stood in the middle of the barnyard without

dancing all over the place for me to "get the job done"!

"David, see pics on my fb page of our parade we were in on Friday.  I got 8 horses groomed, vacuumed and braided quickly and with NO back pain thanks to my Mini Lift! I LOVE it, it is all I can say.  My horses don't mind it at all and all of them walked right in without any problems. Worth every penny I paid!"

Triple H started using the Mini Lift 6 months ago. This is a quote from her email message to me:

"We got 11 Minis ready for this mornings parade and my Mini Lift not only made it go 3X as fast, but saved my back!"

Ass-pirin Acres Miniature Donkeys

We have a large herd of Mediterranean Miniature Donkeys, which of course need clipping, hoof trims, teeth floated etc.  I am no spring chicken and I’m limited in lifting, twisting, bending etc.  Not bad, just what comes naturally with our Senor years.

When I first checked the website for a mini lift,  I thought “oh too much money”!  But the more I looked at it, the more I knew it was something I really thought I needed.  I bit the bullet and ordered the mini lift.

Let me tell you, the money spent was so very worth it!

I could easily body clip 4-5 donkeys in one day without a back ache, or total exhaustion!

This is the best and most needed piece of equipment I have ever purchased for myself!

The donkeys do not seem to mind the lift going up and down.  Once in they seem to totally relax and just stand for whatever is being done without any fuss at all.  We are going to train all our weanlings at halter breaking time to walk into the lift.  That will make it mush easier when we need to have them in for a procedure.  Even the older donkeys that have done it once seem not to be too hesitant to go in again.  I do treat with a little grain once they go in and again before exiting after the procedure.

I strongly recommend a mini lift for any donkey owner who wishes to make their clipping, trimming, medical procedure, dental work, whatever, much easier on them and their donkeys.

PS  I also used the lift to bath and clipped my very large French Briard
dog!  Works great!

"I tried it out on one of my mares this morning, just led her in slowly with treats, stood, and then walked her out. She has had no problem at all with it and she is a mare that has spent the last 10 years in Wyoming just running with a herd having babies. So needless to say I am very happy so far - it is very easy to use - I played with it for a while this morning. I can't wait til my vet sees it, I think he will be very impressed. I don't know if my farrier will get a chance to use it as I think I will be able to do my own once again now!"

"My little donkeys have now traveled 18 hours in the mini hauler.  They loaded with no problems.  Here are my experience thoughts:
The little donkeys arrived at the show tired after the 9 hour trip, but in good shape.
After the show and being drained from the excessive heat, 104º as a high, the wind, and the dust, they loaded up to come home with no problem. Donkeys are freaky and afraid of everything, so loading up into the mini hauler truly is a big deal.  The room between the dividers is more than sufficient, you were totally correct on your space calculations - I was the skeptic!
When you go to the Great American Sale acknowledge to miniature donkey owners/buyers that you realize little donkeys are wary and do not accept new situations easily.  Let them know I had no problems and if they need an experienced reference, they can call me.  Give anybody that needs reassurance whether to buy a Mini Hauler my phone number. "I am posting a picture of us using your Mini Lift to clip a horse last Sunday. Corona is just shy of 36" tall and we stopped part way through the clipping and took the picture.  It worked great! ... Thank you."

"This is a photo of my stallion, Max, in the Mini Lift. He thought the trip up in the air was quite fun! This Lift has been such a godsend to me. I can trim hooves so easily now. Max was horrible for hoof trimming before... always jumping from side to side... but in the lift he stood perfectly! I can't express how grateful I am to have this unit. No more sore back and sore knees! Thanks again."
